Birthday Parties at Highlander Pool
Throwing a birthday party at Highlander Pool is a piece of cake! The Birthday Bash package includes admission for 20 guests and two hours at the pool picnic pavilion for $65. Additional guests are $3/each. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 727-298-3266 or in person at Highlander Pool, 1937 Ed Eckert Drive, Dunedin FL.

Water Fitness
Classes will now be held during the week beginning Monday, June 5. Exercise with low to zero impact on the body to tone muscle, increase joint range of motion, reduce pain and stiffness, and get a great cardio workout. Classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9-10 a.m. at Highlander Pool. $4/day or $40/punch pass (includes 12 classes).

Prepare Now for Hurricane Season – Attend the June 13 Hurricane Expo
June is the official start of hurricane season – but the City of Dunedin and Pinellas County are urging residents to begin preparing for hurricane season now. We ask residents, especially new residents, to mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 13th, for a free public Hurricane Expo presented by the City of Dunedin and the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce at the new City Hall, 737 Louden Ave.

Fertilizer Restrictions Begin June 1
Pinellas County’s rainy season fertilizer restrictions will take effect Thursday, June 1, and will last through Sept. 30. The County’s Fertilizer Ordinance prohibits the sale or application of lawn and landscape fertilizers containing nitrogen and/or phosphorus during that timeframe.

Public Meetings to Begin at New City Hall on June 1
Beginning June 1, our City Commission and all other public meetings will take place at Dunedin's new City Hall, located at 737 Louden Ave. The City's live stream broadcast system has been installed in the new City Hall and will be broadcasting all future Commission and publicly broadcast meetings. These meetings will be live streamed via the City's website, Facebook, and YouTube channels but not on local cable TV networks.

Citizens' Academy is Back!
Dunedin Citizens’ Academy offers residents an “All-Access, Backstage, VIP Pass” to learn about their government and the services delivered. The nine week course is offered from August 15-October 10, using hands-on activities and lectures to provide participants with insight on how local governments work and the functions of City departments. Applications are being accepted until June 22.
