FDOT Announces Open House for U.S. 19 Improvement Project
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a Construction Open House for the U.S. 19 New Interchanges and Roadway Improvements Project from S.R. 580 to the north of C.R. 95/C.R. 39 in Pinellas County, Florida on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Create & Take for Ages 7 - 12
Join us on May 16 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at MLK, Jr. Recreation Center for DIY Paper Lanterns! Encourage your child's creativity with this fun and easy project. No experience necessary. Float-In Movie: The Big Green
Join us at Highlander Pool on May 19 for a fun-filled evening with games, trivia, and a movie! Float in the pool or sit poolside with friends and family. Doors open at 6 p.m., movie starts at dark. Admission is $6/person, and children 2 and under get in free. Register online or in person at Highlander Pool or Dunedin Community Center.

Prepare Now for Hurricane Season – Attend the June 13th Hurricane Expo
June is the official start of hurricane season – but the City of Dunedin and Pinellas County are urging residents to begin preparing for hurricane season in May. We ask residents, especially new residents, to mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 13, for a free public Hurricane Expo presented by the City of Dunedin and the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce at the new City Hall, 737 Louden Ave., starting at 5:30 p.m., with presentations beginning at 6 p.m. Speakers include local emergency operation experts from Pinellas County, City of Dunedin and WFLA Meteorologist and Climate Specialist Jeff Berardelli.

Sections of the Pinellas Trail Closed Thursday, May 18
Attention all Pinellas Trail users, on Thursday, May 18, Pinellas County Public Works will be completing trail crossing upgrades that will affect usage of the trail from Weaver Park to Sedeeva Street. When coming to a section that will be closed, please follow the detour path listed.

A Milliken Event: An Evening with New York Times Bestselling Author Kristin Harmel
Join us on Thursday, June 29 at 6:30pm at the Dunedin Public Library. Tickets are $30 and include refreshments, author talk and a copy of her new book, The Paris Daughter. 2023 Senior Hall of Fame Recipients: Jackie Nigro and Gina and Frank Massotto! The Committee on Aging inducts new members into the City's "Senior Hall of Fame," which honors and celebrates older Dunedin residents who have made significant contributions to the community.

Meetings will be Livestreamed via Website, YouTube & Facebook
The City of Dunedin is moving its livestream broadcast system from the old City Hall to the new City Hall at 737 Louden Ave. However, Commission and Board meetings are still taking place at the old City Hall at 542 Main Street. These meetings will be livestreamed via the City's website, Facebook, and YouTube channels but not on local cable TV networks. It's expected that Commission meetings will be open to the public and livestreamed from the new City Hall starting in June.
