See what’s happenings this summer at Dunedin Parks & Recreation! The May-August Summer Magazine is now available online or you can pick up a copy at any of our Rec Centers, Highlander Pool, City Hall, Marina, Dunedin Library, Dunedin Chamber, Dunedin Golf Club or Stirling Park Driving Range.

Sunset Music Series
Every Friday in May, 7-9 p.m. at Weaver Park. Free to attend. Grab your blanket or lawn chairs to watch the sunset from the shoreline of Weaver Park while listening to live music from blues & soul, 70s-now, rock & pop, classic rock, to good time rock-n-roll. A different band is featured each week: The Charlie Morris Band, Zendaddy, More is More, and The Cats Band. Free limited parking – come early! A bicycle valet service is available at the event entrance/waterside.

Our Economic Development team has provided some local project updates of interest to our community.

Road Closure - Friday
Drivers, take note! Casa Tina Restaurant, is all set to celebrate Cinco de Mayo tomorrow, May 5. Please be aware that certain roads will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 6 a.m. on May 5, and will remain closed until 7 a.m. on May 6. The road closures will be in effect on Main Street (from Broadway to Highland Ave.), Douglas Ave (from Scotland to Monroe), and Virginia Ave (from Main Street to Douglas Ave).

Road Closure - Saturday
The City of Dunedin is hosting their annual Hog Hustle 5K in and around Downtown Dunedin on Saturday, May 6. Certain roads will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 5:30 a.m. and will remain closed through the duration of the race. Road closures will affect Beltrees Street (from Milwaukee Ave. to Broadway), Douglas Avenue (from Scotland St. to Wood St. and Orangewood St. to Beltrees St.), northbound lanes of Edgewater Drive (from Scotland St. to Orangewood St.), and southbound lanes on Milwaukee Avenue (from Scotland St. to Orangewood St.). Please be aware that roads crossing the race course will be closed to traffic for the duration of the race.
