The Dunedin Public Library is a 2022 recipient of the AARP Community Challenge Grant. For the sixth annual AARP Community Challenge, AARP received more than 3,200 applications from nonprofits and government entities nationwide. There were only 10 winners in the State of Florida and we are so proud that Dunedin was the only winning recipient in Pinellas County!

Florida Bike Month
The City of Dunedin is proud to celebrate Florida Bike Week. Join us and our partners in Pinellas County on Friday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Pinellas Trail near Skinner Blvd to learn about bike safety, the rules of the Trail, and enjoy free merchandise.

Dunedin’s Senior Hall of Fame – Last Call for Nominations
Nominate a Dunedin resident for this year’s Senior Hall of Fame. Each year, the City of Dunedin Committee on Aging inducts new members into the Dunedin Senior Hall of Fame which honors and celebrates older Dunedin residents who have made significant contributions to our community. Nominees must be at least 75 years or older, reside in Dunedin for 10+ years, and have donated their time and abilities to serving the community. The deadline to submit is Friday, March 24.

Water Safety Pop Up Days
Our City of Dunedin Aquatics staff is popping up around Dunedin talking to parents and children about water safety, handing out valuable information, and providing free life jackets to children 6-months and older (while supplies last).
- Saturday, March 18, 11 am-1 pm at Kiwanis Sprayground
- Saturday, April 8, 11 am-1 pm at Dunedin Causeway
- Wednesday, April 19, 3-5 pm at Weaver Park
- Sunday, May 7, 1-3 pm at Kiwanis Sprayground

Dunedin New City Hall is Open for Business
The City of Dunedin is proud to open its doors to a new City Hall that will serve as the hub for local government and community services. While final work installing technology and the livestream broadcast system continues, City Commission meetings will temporarily continue to be held at the old City Hall, 542 Main Street.

Road Closure - Friday
There will be road closures this Friday, March 17, while we celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Downtown Dunedin. Presented by Flanagan's Irish Pub.
