MLK, Jr. Celebration
Join us on Saturday, January 14 for our annual MLK, Jr. Celebration event. Enjoy a free breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. while listening to keynote speakers, the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church choir, and readings of student diversity essays. Then march to Pioneer Park for live entertainment from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. celebrating the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event is presented by City of Dunedin Parks & Recreation, in partnership with Dunedin Library and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.

Did you know Downtown Dunedin is a CRA (Community Redevelopment Area)?
A Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) is a designated area of focus for revitalization. Over the years, downtowns across the country declined with the advent of big box retail and shopping malls. Utilizing redevelopment legislation put in place by the State of Florida, the City of Dunedin began its efforts to improve Downtown in 1988.

City Facilities Closed - Monday, Jan. 16
The City of Dunedin will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There will be no disruption to the Solid Waste Curbside Collections schedule.
