Pinellas County Sheriff’s Night Out
Thank you to everyone who came out to visit the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Night Out. National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and fosters a true sense of community. National Night Out was canceled in Pinellas County due to Hurricane Ian and rescheduled for November 1, 2022, in Dunedin’s Highlander Park.

City Reclaimed Water Distribution System
The City of Dunedin Wastewater Treatment Facility will be sampling the plant’s discharge water starting on Sunday, November 6, through November 11, 2022, to comply with Florida Department of Environmental Protection mandates. Upon completion of the testing period, the City will begin refilling the reclaimed water storage tanks during these dry weather winter months. During this time, the reclaimed water system will be turned off until Wednesday, November 16, 2022. The City will confirm when normal operations may resume.

Gobble Gobble Golf Camp for Kids & Teens
While school is out for Thanksgiving Break and before the big turkey day, ages 5-15 can sign-up to come and enjoy the game of golf on Monday-Wednesday, November 21-23 from 9am-1pm at Stirling Park Driving Range. Leaf season is here. This means leaf litter is on our yards, streets, and curb lines. How is this related to stormwater? Leaf litter can release excess nutrients into stormwater and local waterbodies. The sources of nutrient pollution in urban stormwater vary, but one of the primary contributors is leaf litter.

On November 6, the Dunedin History Museum will host a celebration of its 50th Anniversary. The following area will be affected due to a road closure: Railroad Ave West, including the parking lot between Honey Street and Main Street; West Honey Street from Railroad Ave 100 feet west side of the parking lot.
