Pursuant to Department of Health Rule 64-4.011(b), Medical Marijuana Use Registry Identification Cards, patients and caregivers are required to meet the below qualifications to be eligible to obtain their Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) identification card. Requirements include: 

• Patients may only complete an application (either initial or renewal) for their MMUR identification card if they have current or scheduled certifications with active orders in the MMUR; and 

• Caregivers may only complete an application (either initial or renewal) for their MMUR identification card if they are connected to a valid and active patient in the MMUR.

The Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) has revised the Patient and Caregiver FAQs regarding this update. The FAQs are available at KnowTheFactsMMJ.com. MMUR users are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the changes to assist with a smooth transition.
