Water Restrictions Update
The Southwest Florida Water Management District has issued a Modified Phase III (Extreme) Water Shortage for Pinellas County. Effective April 3, Clearwater Public Utilities water customers can water their lawns one day per week. Irrigation is permitted only between 12:01 and 4 a.m. or 8 and 11:59 p.m. Properties less than one acre may use only one watering window.
We urge everyone to reduce wasteful and unnecessary water use amid continuous drought conditions. Under Phase III, violations may be subject to citation without prior warning.
