Clearwater's Solid Waste and Recycling Fleet Moves to All Brown Trucks
Clearwater’s recycling program is NOT changing - just the color of our trucks.
Clearwater residents and customers can rest assured: recycling collection and processing in our community are not changing. Your pickup schedule, accepted materials, and service standards will all remain the same. The only change you’ll notice is the color of our trucks.
As part of our commitment to operational excellence in Clearwater, we are transitioning to a universal fleet of brown trucks for both solid waste and recycling collection. This approach allows us to operate more efficiently, deploy staff more flexibly, complete repairs more quickly, and maintain stronger cost control, all while delivering the reliable service you expect.
To make identification easy, recycling trucks will feature clear, distinct recycling magnets and markings so residents can quickly recognize them. While the trucks may share the same base color, your recycling service remains clearly seperated and fully operational.
