Bayshore Trail Public Meeting
Feb. 3, 5 p.m., Moccasin Lake Nature Park
Residents are invited to attend an informational meeting about upcoming improvements along the Bayshore Trail from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 3, at Moccasin Lake Nature Park.

Neighborhoods Day is all about celebrating the people who make Clearwater a great place to live. Join us March 28, for a fun-filled day featuring neighborhood pride and opportunities to connect with fellow residents, city staff and local organizations.
Neighborhoods may apply for up to $300 in grant funding to support their event through a clear and transparent application process, designed to ensure fairness and accessibility. Applications are due Feb. 13 at midnight.
Applications are reviewed using a standardized scoring rubric. Each category contributes to your total score and funding eligibility. You do not need to be perfect in every category, but providing clear and complete information in each area helps increase your application score.
All applications will be given the opportunity to address any concerns or questions after submittal if they score below the needed amount for full grant funding. Funding is not guaranteed and is based on the application score and available funds.
If you have questions about the new process or need help with the application, your neighborhood coordinator is available to assist.

'Little One': An Author Talk With Olivia Muenter and Ayana Lage
Feb. 14, Noon to 1 p.m., Countryside Library
The Clearwater Library System is hosting its first author talk of 2026 with Olivia Muenter. Join us at noon Feb. 14, at the Countryside Library for a discussion with Muenter and local writer Ayana Lage.
Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, Muenter is celebrating the release of her sophomore novel, "Little One." Her debut novel, "Such a Bad Influence," was an instant USA Today bestseller.
"Little One" follows a young woman whose life is upended when a journalist uncovers her mysterious and hidden upbringing. Sharp-eyed and sweltering, "Little One" masterfully captures the dread of facing your deepest desires, when the hunger to become your best self threatens to drown out everything else. An achingly astute look at modern womanhood and wellness culture, it tackles the enduring question: How far would you go to be good?
