Point in Time Count with Homeless Leadership Alliance of Pinellas, Jan. 29 (multiple shifts available)
The Point in Time Count is an annual, nationwide event with a noble mission: to identify and gather data on individuals and families grappling with homelessness in Pinellas County. If you enjoy making a difference, we invite you to consider signing up for a shift or two Jan. 29. These shifts are about three hours long, with options as early as 6 a.m. and as late as 7 p.m. With dedicated and compassionate individuals like you on our Pinellas Point in Time team, we're genuinely confident that we can make homelessness in Pinellas County a rare, brief, and one-time experience.

In December, Clearwater volunteers could be found in every corner of the city of Clearwater. Forty one volunteers came out to the Clearwater Municipal Cemetery Workday, led by the newly formed Friends of Historic Clearwater Municipal Cemetery and the local VFW. Volunteers could also be found at the city's many holiday events and beautification projects, including the Beach Sticker and Graffiti Removal project and Pollinator Garden Workday at Moccasin Lake Nature Park. Thank you, volunteers, for all you do!
