Teen DIY Haunted House Miniature
- Tuesday, Oct. 28, 3:30-5 p.m.

Join us for a fun afternoon of crafting for teens. Participants can create a haunted house miniature with spooky creatures, lights, and your choice of miniatures. Program is for ages 12-18. All supplies are provided; registration is required.
Halloween Extravaganza!

Join our local artist Jill Jackson and create fun and spooky Halloween crafts. Registration is not required; space is limited and is first-come, first-served.

This high-energy Halloween performance is for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Costumes are encouraged. Registration is not required; space is limited and is first-come, first-served.
Boo Bash

- BayCare Ballpark, 601 N. Old Coachman Road
The city of Clearwater and the Clearwater Threshers invite you to Boo Bash, a free, family-friendly trick-or-treat event. Local businesses and vendors will be passing out candy to kids on the concourse as families walk table to table. There will also be hayrides, games and a costume parade, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Sweet Swap

Take your Halloween candy to any Clearwater recreation center. Each pound of candy or letter to the troops will earn the donor a raffle ticket to win a prize. The centers will also collect toiletry and non-perishable food items, such as coffee, razors, tube socks and toothpaste.

Clearwater Patriot Fest, Service After Sacrifice

 The Clearwater Patriot Fest-Service After Sacrifice returns on Nov. 8, at Crest Lake Park for a day filled with fun, community spirit and honoring our veterans. This year, the festival brings together families and neighbors for a celebration of resilience, featuring live music, exciting activities and valuable resources for our veteran community.
This free event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to join in the festivities, celebrate our veterans, and support our community. It’s an opportunity to come together, enjoy great entertainment, and make a difference.

Thanksgiving Break Camps
 Looking to keep your kids entertained this Thanksgiving break? Look no further than the city of Clearwater's recreation camps. Daily camps are available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 24 to 26, at Countryside, Long Center and Morningside recreation centers. Cost is $81 with a recreation card and $90 without one for all three days. Call or walk into your preferred recreation center to register.

The Achieva Turkey Trot is One Month Away!
 Registration is live for the Achieva Clearwater Turkey Trot, which happens exactly one month from now on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27. Runners, walkers and families can participate in the Achieva Timed Competitive 5K, the FrankCrum Family Fun Run 5K, or Abe's Place 1-Mile Drum Run. There's a race for everyone!

CRA Community Outreach Construction Meeting
Oct. 28, 3 p.m., Clearwater Main Library
 The city’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host its monthly Community Outreach Meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Clearwater Main Library (City Council Chambers).
This month, a representative from Creative Contractors will give a presentation highlighting the Osceola Parking Garage Project. The meeting will also include updates on other city initiatives, available resources, and ongoing revitalization efforts impacting Downtown Clearwater.
Open to residents, businesses, and community partners, this is a great opportunity to stay informed about the exciting changes ahead and stay connected with your community.

Clearwater’s Seed Library Program Blossoms
 The Clearwater Public Library’s Seed Library program is thriving! Since its launch at Countryside Library in 2023 and expansion to the East Community Library @ SPC, patrons have taken home nearly 20,000 seed packets from the library. Residents can obtain free seeds for vegetables, herbs, and flowers — no gardening experience is needed.
Top favorites include cilantro, sunflowers, basil, cosmos, and tomatoes, reflecting Clearwater’s growing passion for home gardening and sustainability.
Start your gardening journey today — visit the Seed Libraries at Countryside or East Community @ SPC. It’s free and open to all!
