Project Highlight
Construction began last year on a renovated Municipal Services Building at 100 S. Myrtle Ave. and a new City Hall at 200 S. Myrtle Ave. Together with the existing parking garage and Police Headquarters, the renovated building and new City Hall will form a municipal campus that improves efficiency for both staff and residents.
The two-story City Hall will be 40,000 square feet and will include City Council Chambers, a large public meeting room, and offices for city administration and elected officials. The project is a LEED Certified Silver building to conform with Greenprint 2.0.
This municipal complex is expected to be fully open by July 2026 and will help advance the city's goal of delivering high-performing, responsive government.

Project Highlight
Visitors to Downtown Clearwater and Coachman Park may notice that the site of the former Harborview Center has been fenced off, as construction of a new 158-key hotel is set to begin soon. Once completed, the project will offer an additional lodging option for those attending downtown events.
The property will feature 169 parking spaces, a rooftop bar, and approximately 21,000 square feet of retail space. This hotel, along with its restaurant and retail offerings, will bring new amenities to downtown and support the city’s goal of becoming a premier destination that is bright and beautiful from bay to beach.
A grand opening for the hotel, parking, and adjacent retail is currently scheduled for spring 2027.
