The MotivateMe Incentive Period Has Been Extended.
Last day to complete screenings for 2024 incentives has been extended to Nov. 30.
 The MotivateMe Incentive period has been extended to Nov. 30.
In order to partake in the MotivateMe Department Challenge and to have your department entered to win, complete the following steps:
- Complete your MotivateMe Gatekeepers by Nov. 30. This includes your wellness screening AND the online health assessment found at MyCigna.com.
- Encourage your co-workers to complete their screenings as well.
- The top three departments with the most participation win a prize!*
*NOTE: Department winners will be based on participation percentage. Only employees that complete the gatekeepers will receive the reward. If you do not participate toward the department goal, you will not receive a reward.

Upcoming Blood Drive is Tuesday, Nov. 19
 The OneBlood Bus will be in front of City Hall Offices at 600 Cleveland St. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
All donors receive a $20 e-gift card, six OneBlood reusable cups, and a wellness checkup that includes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening. *IDs are required to donate blood.

- The route will start by Parking Lot 11 off Pierce Street at Coachman Park.
We will go up the helix, across the bridge and back.

 November is National Family Caregivers Month — a time to celebrate the dedication of family members who provide care for loved ones managing health challenges, including mental health conditions.
This month, Mental Health America wants to help ease the journey for caregivers by offering resources that promote both caregiver and care recipient well-being. The organization's Caregiver Resource Center is a one-stop-shop for information on essential caregiving topics, from recognizing burnout to building resilience.

Located at 401 Corbett St. Suite #400, the Employee Health Center has a lot to offer. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call (727) 298-1788 to make an appointment.
- Primary Care: Diabetes, hypertension, anxiety/depression, chronic conditions, gynecology, physicals, and more.
- Acute Care: Sprains/strains, ear and eye infections, colds, fevers, allergies, non-work-related injuries and non-emergency injuries.
- Ancillary Services: Pre-employment physicals, skin screenings, joint injections, and trigger-point manipulations.

- Biometrics
Make sure to schedule your MotivateMe appointments (annual physical, biometric, wellness screenings and skin screenings) before Nov. 30. The Employee Health Center still has plenty of appointments available for those needing to complete these appointments.
Note: Employee Health Center paid-time-off can be used if your appointment is during working hours only.
Volunteer as a Lunch Pal
 Mentors change the lives of thousands of Pinellas County students each week. Research has shown that mentoring helps improve students' grades, attendance, behavior, social interactions with adults, and outlook on school.
One-on-one mentoring sessions are designed to meet at least twice per month for 30 minutes on the student's lunch break.
Mentoring is an excellent way for individuals, businesses and community organizations to be impactful and transformative for students and schools who need support and additional caring adults. Please check out the wonderful mentoring opportunities Pinellas County Schools offer.
The Clearwater Turkey Trot happens Nov. 28, and race organizers are offering a $5 discount code for city of Clearwater employees and retirees. This is a city co-sponsored event and has been a community favorite for years. This year's races include the 1-Mile Abe's Gobbler and the 5K Zaniboni Group Wingding.
