This year’s festival will feature a spectacular showcase of iconic sand sculptures -- some new and some from the festival’s history -- to celebrate the festival’s finest moments of the past ten years, while looking toward an even more exciting and inspiring future for the museum and the art of sand sculpting. In celebration of the festival's 10-year anniversary, attendees will be able to cast their votes for the "People’s Choice Award," where guests can vote for the theme of the 2025 exhibit.

Visitors can experience the architectural masterpieces created from Clearwater’s famous sugar sand, in addition to free beach concerts, street performers, and daily entertainment. Exciting additions to this year's celebration include a butterfly garden exhibit and a sand animation area, providing a unique experience for attendees.

Don't miss an evening of Salsa and Bachata at the Sugar Sand Festival on Sunday, April 14. Salsa and Bachata dance lessons will begin at 5 p.m., followed by professional dance performances spotlighting the talents of Samba Conmigo and Iroko. Orquesta INFINIDAD will take the stage at 6 p.m., concluding with a grand fireworks finale at 9 p.m.

General admission tickets are $14 per person, offering access to the awe-inspiring sand sculpture exhibit. Children 3 years of age and younger enjoy free admission. New this year is “Timeless Tuesdays,” a special day each week that visitors ages 60 and older can enjoy a discounted ticket price of $12 each: April 2 and April 9, 2024. Also returning to the festival is “Frontline Fridays” sponsored by Beachside Hospitality Group. All police, fire, military, veterans, teachers, and healthcare workers will receive discounted general admission tickets for $10 on March 29, April 5, and April 12. Sixteen renowned sand sculptors from around the world will once again showcase their talent by crafting intricate works of art from more than 1,000 tons of Clearwater’s internationally famous sugar sand.
