Container Delivery and Repair Update
Good news! Our container shipments have arrived! Open container delivery service requests are currently being delivered, and we are working expeditiously to catch up on backlogged order service requests as they were received. We’ll be delivering cans for the next eight weeks to each ward. Each Ward will be notified when containers will be delivered.
Ward 8 residents we are delivering your cans! We will be delivering cans March 3rd – 7th in Ward 8.
For residents awaiting container repairs, please advise residents to place their damaged containers at their designated collection point on their scheduled collection day.

Leaf Collection
Crews are wrapping up leaf collection throughout the city, completing second passes to gather any remaining leaves.
As leaf season comes to a close, we’re seamlessly transitioning to our spring services to keep our neighborhoods clean, safe, and beautiful.
For any remaining locations that need leaf collection that are not serviced over the weekend, please submit a Street Sweeping 311 service request and include in the notes that it is for missed leaf collection. Our Street Sweeping crews will collect any remaining leaves.
The Street Sweeping 311 service request will be available for submission on Monday, March 3rd.
Street Sweeping:
As Leaf season winds down, and spring cleaning services ramp up! Starting Monday, March 3rd, street sweeping & ground maintenance begin. We’ll continue handling leaf service requests while transitioning to spring services. There will be a two-week grace period for ticketing vehicles parked during posted Street Sweeping hours from March 3 – March 14th. Parking Enforcement will begin issuing tickets for Street Sweeping on Monday, March 17th!

Meet the new bin on the block! DPW has installed Food Waste Smart Bins in the District and more are coming! Composting has never been easier.
