Help OSSE build DC's school report card!

Dear Partners:

The Office of the State Superintendent for Education (OSSE) is continuing its work to build a new school report card tool that will give parents and families one place to get the information they need about our city’s public schools (both traditional and charter).

OSSE is seeking feedback on the new report card tool’s website, particularly the layout and organization of the information and how to best visualize some of the data that will be presented on the new tool.

There are two ways you can help:

  1. Take a brief online survey at bit.ly/reportcarddesignsurvey by May 4th  to voice your opinion. Please feel free to forward this survey to your families! The survey is also available in Spanish: bit.ly/espreportcarddesignsurvey.
  2. Host a community engagement session with your families and staff to gather in-person feedback by May 4th. You can email your paper-based feedback to OSSE or request that OSSE pick it up directly from your location. Download your toolkit HERE.

Don’t miss the chance to tell OSSE what you think so they can build a tool that is easy as possible for parents and families to use and understand!

Please email buildDCsreportcard.osse@dc.gov or call 202-727-6436 if you have any questions about this survey. Thank you!
