Multiple Lane Closures on New York Avenue NE for District Sidewalk Construction
(WASHINGTON, DC) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises stakeholders to expect delays due to upcoming lane closures for construction related to the District’s Sidewalk Gap Program.
The lane closures are listed below and will take place from July 27 to September 18, 2026, weekdays and some Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Temporary eastbound lane and road closures for sidewalk and driveway entrances construction from the 1300-1500 blocks of New York Avenue NE, between Fairview Avenue NE and Kendall Street, NE
