Want to learn about DC’s ranked choice voting system? We’re here to help. 

Join the Bowser Administration and Board of Elections officials for an informational forum where attendees will learn more about the ranked-choice voting process. 

Background 

In 2024, DC voters passed Initiative 83, allowing each voter to rank up to five candidates in order of preference. The first implementation of the Ranked-Choice voting system will be in the June 2026 primary election.
