Temporary Overnight Ramp Closures Scheduled Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) – Ramp to Westbound US Route 50 and Ramp to Northbound George Washington Memorial Parkway
(WASHINGTON, DC) — Beginning on April 7, 2026, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will perform overnight (9 PM to 5 AM) temporary closures of ramps from I-66 (westbound) to US Route 50 (westbound) and to George Washington Memorial Parkway (northbound). The ramp closures will remain in place through April 10, 2026. Detours will be posted for both closed ramps. These closures are necessary for the ongoing rehabilitation of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge to perform structural repairs and replace the bridge deck. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes during this period. DDOT encourages all travelers to stay alert and follow posted signage for safe and efficient travel through the area.
