Weekday Sidewalk, Lane, and Road Closures for Multiple Locations DC PLUG Feeder 14093
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises stakeholders to expect delays due to upcoming sidewalk closures for work related to the DC Power Line Undergrounding (DC PLUG) initiative.
There will be no full roadway closure; however, sidewalks and lanes will be restricted during work hours.
Traffic controls, including signage, will be in place to guide motorists safely through the work zones. All roadway users are advised to remain alert and observe signage and work zones while traveling in these areas.
Sidewalk, Road and lane closures are listed below and will take place from December 4 to 31, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This work is necessary to complete the DC PLUG initiative’s Feeder 14093 project, which involves undergrounding power lines for a more resilient DC.
