Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (I-66 Eastbound) Independence Avenue Temporary Ramp Closure on November 15, 2025
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close the Independence Avenue NW ramp off I-66 Eastbound on the DC side of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. This closure will occur on Saturday, November 15, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon). The ramp closure is necessary to facilitate roadway resurfacing activities.
Detour signs will be installed to guide motorists safely through the detour route. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closure. DDOT encourages all travelers to stay alert and follow posted signage for safe and efficient travel in the area.
