Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) Scheduled Lane Closures of George Washington Memorial Parkway
(WASHINGTON, DC) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will alternate single lane closures northbound and southbound lanes of the George Washington Memorial Parkway on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, through Friday, October 31, 2025.
For the southbound (inbound) direction, one lane will be closed between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM. For the northbound (outbound) direction, one lane will be closed between 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM. These closures are necessary for the installation of overhead protection shield equipment on the overhead ramp bridge.
Motorists are advised to plan and use alternate routes during the closure window. DDOT encourages all travelers to stay alert and follow posted signage for safe and efficient travel through the area.
