Freeway Ramp Closure for Safety Inspections on I-66, Seek Alternate Route

(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has temporarily closed a freeway ramp on I-66 Potomac Freeway for safety inspections. The closure is in place from I-66 Potomac Freeway to Whitehurst Freeway Connection Ramp.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the closure is in place. DDOT encourages all travelers to stay alert and to watch for inspection personnel in the area.
