Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) Weekend Ramp Closures Begin September 19
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close the following ramps as part of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge Rehabilitation project:
- E Street westbound to westbound I-66
- Southbound Potomac River Freeway to westbound I-66
- 25th Street Ramp to westbound I-66
The closures will begin at 9:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025, and remain in effect through 5:00 AM on Monday, September 22, 2025.
These closures are necessary to perform resurfacing work on the bridge. A signed detour will be in place to guide motorists safely around the work zone.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closure window. DDOT encourages all travelers to stay alert and follow posted signage for safe and efficient travel through the area.
