ProjectDox Upgrade Completes on August 18: Learn How to Transfer or Cancel Your Old Project

Dear ProjectDox Customer,

On August 18, 2025, the Department of Buildings (DOB) will complete the transition to its upgraded version of ProjectDox (launched in February 2025). The new platform provides a more stable review environment, is more user-friendly, and includes more self-help resources for easy navigation.

Because you have an active project in the old ProjectDox platform, we need to know whether:

  1. You want to transfer your project to the new ProjectDox platform. Here’s how this works:
    • The transfer must occur on or before August 18 to ensure a seamless transition.
    • You will receive an invitation to re-upload all documents into the new platform; DOB will provide assistance.
    • DOB will ensure prior reviews are maintained and application status is not disrupted.

OR

  1. You are no longer pursuing the project and you would like to cancel it.
    • If you cancel your project you may request a refund of the filing fee.
