Weekday Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge Inspections Begins July 14, 2025
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is temporarily closing single lanes on the following roadways for bridge inspections:
Eastbound Ramp from Whitehurst Freeway to K-Street NW over the Ramp from K Street NW to Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway NW, alternating right and left lane closures of the Eastbound Ramp from Whitehurst Freeway to K-Street NW over the Ramp from K Street NW to Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway NW on Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18, 2025 during the hours of 10:00AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Westbound Ramp from K-Street NW to Whitehurst Freeway over the Ramp from Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway NW to K Street NW, alternating right and left lane closures of the Westbound Ramp from K-Street NW to Whitehurst Freeway over the Ramp from Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway NW to K Street NW on Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18, 2025 during the hours of 10:00AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Northbound and Southbound I-395 Center Leg from Massachusetts Avenue NW to H Street NW, alternating right and left lane closures of Northbound and Southbound I-395 Center Leg from Massachusetts Avenue NW to H Street NWon Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18, 2025 during the hours of 10:00AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow for additional travel time, and consider alternative routes.
Traffic controls, including signage, will be in place to guide motorists safely through the work zones. All roadway users are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and work zones while traveling in this area.
