Traffic Advisory: Upcoming DC PLUG Feeder 15166 Lane and Sidewalk Closures
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises stakeholders to expect delays due to upcoming sidewalk closures for work related to the DC Power Line Undergrounding (DC PLUG) initiative.
Sidewalk and Lane closures are listed below and take place on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Temporary southbound sidewalk and lane closure for sidewalk restoration from the 3000 blocks of Martin Luther King Jr, Avenue, SE, between Malcolm X, Avenue, SE, and Parkland Place SE, from June 9, 2025, to June 16, 2025 (Weather Permitting).
This work is necessary to complete the DC PLUG initiative’s Feeder 15166 project which consists of undergrounding powerlines for a more resilient DC.
