Traffic Advisory: Temporary Lane Closures for Sign Surveying
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on the following roads for sign surveying June 4, June 5 and June 18:
June 4 and June 5 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.:
One lane of travel will be closed and surveys last approximately 30 minutes at each location:
- DC295 Northbound and Southbound
- New York Avenue at 3rd Street
- 3rd Street Tunnel
- I-695 Southbound
- I-66 Eastbound
- E Street Expressway Eastbound
- Overlook Avenue SW Southbound
June 18 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.:
Two lanes of travel will be closed.
Traffic controls, including signage, will be in place to guide motorists safely through the work zones. All roadway users are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and work zones while traveling in this area.
