Expect Daytime Traffic Delays on New York Avenue April 28 - May 7
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises stakeholders to expect traffic delays near the 1300 to 1500 blocks of New York Avenue NE between Kendall Street NE and 16th Street NE from April 28 to May 7, 2025, due to upcoming lane closures for infiltration testing work related to the District’s Sidewalk Gap Program initiative.
The temporary westbound lane closure takes place on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This work is necessary to complete the District’s Sidewalk Gap Program.
