Night Work to Impact Traffic Lanes on New York Avenue/US 50 Beginning March 17
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close eastbound and westbound traffic lanes on New York Ave/US 50 near DC/MD Line from on March 17 to March 28, 2025, weather permitting.
The following areas are impacted as indicated below, weather permitting.
- Right Shoulder, Right Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Eastbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Removal of existing scales and installation of new scales on New York Ave on March 17 to March 18 , during the hours of 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
- Left Shoulder, Left Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Eastbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Removal of existing scales and installation of new scales on New York Ave on March 18 to March 19 , during the hours of 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
- Right Shoulder, Right Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Westbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Removal of existing scales and installation of new scales on New York Ave on March 19 to March 20, during the hours of 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
- LeftShoulder , Left Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Westbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Removal of existing scales and installation of new scales on New York Ave on March 20 to March 21, during the hours of 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
- Right Shoulder, Right Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Eastbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Installation of Loop Detectors on New York Ave on March 24 to March 25, during the hours of 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
- Left Shoulder, Left Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Eastbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Installation of Loop Detectors on New York Ave on March 25 to March 26 , during the hours of 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
- Right Shoulder, Right Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Westbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Installation of Loop Detectors on New York Ave on March 26 to March 27, during the hours of 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
- LeftShoulder , Left Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Westbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Installation of Loop Detectors on New York Ave on March 27 to March 28, during the hours of 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM, weather permitting.
