Temporary Lane Closures on New York Ave. March 8
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close traffic lanes in both eastbound and westbound directions on New York Ave/US 50 near DC/MD Line on March 8, 2025, weather permitting.
- Left Shoulder, Left Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Eastbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Diamond grinding the left lane on New York Ave on March 8, during the hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM, weather permitting.
- Left Shoulder, Left Lane, and Center Lane Closure on Westbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Diamond grinding the left lane on March 8, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, weather permitting.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling in the vicinity of the work area and to pay attention to the detour signs that will be in place.
