Correction: Temporary Lane Closures Feb. 3 to Feb. 14 for DC Weigh in Motion Activities
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close traffic lanes on New York Ave/US 50 near DC/MD Line eastbound and westbound directions from Feb. 3 to Feb. 14 for work activities for the Long Bridge Project, weather permitting.
- Right Shoulder and Right Lane Closure on Eastbound and Westbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Feb. 3, 2025, during the hours of 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM, weather permitting.
- Right Shoulder and Right Lane Closure on Eastbound New York Ave from S Dakota Ave to Anacostia River bridge – Feb. 4 to Feb. 5, 2025, during the hours of 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM, weather permitting
- Right Shoulder and Right Lane Closure on Westbound New York Ave from 295 off Ramp to S Dakota Ave OHM Sign – Feb. 6 to Feb. 7, 2025, during the hours of 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM, weather permitting
- Right Shoulder and Right Lane Closure on Eastbound New York Ave from S Dakota Ave to Anacostia River bridge – Feb. 10 to Feb. 4, 2025, during the hours of 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM, weather permitting
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling in the vicinity of the work area and to pay attention to the detour signs that will be in place.
