Temporary Bike Lane Closure Oct. 7 – Oct. 18 on 9th Street, Cyclists Urged to Find Alternate Route

(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close bike lanes on 9^th Street between L and M Streets from October 7 through October 18 due to a permitted special event. Cyclists are asked to find an alternate route during this time.

To accommodate the special event, DDOT will need to temporarily remove flex posts in the area. The bike lane will be accessible at the conclusion of the event and reopen to the public on October 18.
