Lane and Sidewalk Closures for DC Plug Feeder 15009
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises stakeholders to expect delays due to lane and sidewalk closures in the 700 block of Whittier Street NW, the 300 to 304 blocks of Aspen Street NW and 6718 3rd Street NW for DC PLUG Feeder 15009 from July 8, 2024 to August 9, 2024.
During this time, residents will have continued access to their homes. Please adhere to all “NO Parking” signs. The lane and sidewalk closure are estimated to last 1 month to accommodate the installation of tapholes and transformer enclosures (weather permitting). This work is necessary to complete the DC PLUG initiative’s Feeder 15009 project which consists of undergrounding powerlines for a more resilient DC.
