Temporary Lane Closures on Oregon Avenue NW at Military Road NW from February 27 through April 12, 2024

(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on Oregon Avenue NW at Military Road NW, beginning February 27, 2024, through April 12, 2024, weather permitting.

Operation hours at this location will be 9:30 pm to 3:30 pm. 

Oregon Avenue and Military Road NW Intersection, single lane closures needed on Oregon Avenue NW. A proper variable message board will be in place to notify the public of changes. Lane closures will be between the hours of 9:30 am and 3:30 pm, weather permitting, on Tuesday, February 27 through Friday, April 12, 2024.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. 

Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and observe the inspection personnel. DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert when traveling through this area.
