Temporary Lane Closures for Bridge & Tunnel Inspections in Multiple Locations, March 3 through March 8, 2024
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections from March 3 through March 8, 2024, weather permitting.

Thomas Circle (99) Sunday, eastbound lanes on March 3, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
-
Air Rights Tunnel (1143) left lane closure and then right lane closure on Monday, southbound March 4, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

12th Street Tunnel (172S) two lanes starting below 12th Street south tunnel on Tuesday, northbound March 5th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

E Street Expressway (1209) alternating left lane and right lane closure on Wednesday, eastbound on March 6, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

Dupont Circle (Tunnel 101) southbound lane closure on Thursday, March 7, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate light-to-moderate delays due to lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and observe the inspection personnel.
