Dear UI Claimants,
We're excited to announce that the new Unemployment Insurance Benefits System (UIBS) has officially launched! You can resume filing claims and weekly certifications seamlessly through the new system, providing you with a more user-friendly and efficient experience.
As with any system transition, we anticipate a potential increase in calls to our call center and wait times at our American Job Centers. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this period as we work diligently to assist each claimant promptly.
As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure timely and efficient disbursement of benefits, we would like to highlight that the processing time for benefits payments may vary depending on your banking institution. While we strive to expedite the process as much as possible, please be aware that it may take up to 3 days for the funds to appear in your account.
We understand the significance of these payments for you and your family, and we want to assure you that we are working diligently to minimize any delays in the process. However, factors such as banking procedures and processing times beyond our control may occasionally impact the timeline.
To keep your information safe, we have added a new tool called ID.me. It helps prevent fraud and ensures secure access. Verify your identity via ID.me to ensure the security of your account and expedite the processing of your benefits. Your security is our top priority, and ID.me helps us protect your sensitive information effectively.
