New DOES Unemployment Insurance Benefit System (UIBS) Launches Monday, 2/5/2024

Dear Members of the Benefits Community,

 

This is a reminder that the new Unemployment Insurance Benefits Systems is launching Monday, February 5, 2024. Claimants are encouraged to file weekly certifications online at www.dcnetworks.org starting Monday, February 5, 2024. 

 

Please note that you will use your www.dcnetworks.org username and password to log in, not your Social Security Number.

1. If you do not remember your user name or password, go to www.dcnetworks.org, then click Retrieve Username or Password and select the option to retrieve your user name and/or password.
2. You will be asked to enter your Social Security Number and the email address that you registered in the system.
3. If a match is found in the system, your username or link to reset your password will be emailed to you.

 

For claimants wanting to use the Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) to perform their weekly certification, call 202-724- 7000.

1. Select the appropriate language and input your 9-digit Social Security Number for identity verification.
2. Following verification of your Social Security Number, input your 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) as received in your welcome letter.
3. For all users, the system default PIN is the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Claimants can update this PIN in their claimant portal at www.dcnetworks.org.
4. If you require further assistance using the IVR system for weekly certification, call between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday and a call representative will assist you.

 

As a reminder, we have incorporated new technology to verify and protect your identity. All claimants must verify their identities through ID.me, a fraud prevention tool. Using this tool further assists in ensuring that your information is safe and your access is secure.

 

For claimants seeking 1099 Forms, these were mailed on January 26, 2024. Online access will also be provided by Friday, February 16, 2024.

 

IDENTITY VERIFICATION REQUIRED: With the modernization of the new Unemployment Insurance Benefits System, all claimants must verify their identities through the new ID.me + DOES portal.
