Temporary Road Closure on Dahlia Street, NW for DC PLUG Feeder 15009 Begins January 8, 2024
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be conducting temporary road closures in the 600 to 800 blocks of Dahlia Street, NW, between Piney Branch Road and 9th Street, NW, for restoration milling and paving construction activities on January 8 - 13, 2024; weather permitting.
The temporary road closure will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Residents will still have access to their apartments or homes, and parking will be prohibited as marked by “Emergency No Parking” signs.
Restoration is estimated to take five days to complete. Roadway restoration of Milling and Paving is necessary to complete the DC PLUG initiative’s Feeder 15009 project, which consists of undergrounding powerlines for a more resilient DC.
