Traffic Advisory: Emergency Nighttime Work on 16th Street for Rehabilitation of 16th Street Bridge over Piney Branch Parkway Project
(WASHINGTON, DC) —The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) anticipates the implementation of the following nighttime work on the 16th Street Bridge, Southbound lanes as part of the ongoing 16th Street Bridge rehabilitation work, on Tuesday, September 05, 2023, from 7:00 pm through Wednesday, September 06, 2023, at 5:00 am, weather permitting to necessitate the following:
- Remove existing Historic Street Light Poles on the Bridge
Please note that all other previously published temporary lane closure advisories for this project remain in effect and unchanged.
Motorists are urged to obey traffic advisory instructions, use caution as they travel in these areas, anticipate moderate delays, and be mindful of construction personnel.
