Roadway Restoration on Van Buren Street, 4th Street, and Whittier Street NW Begins June 12, 2023
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises stakeholders to expect delays due to upcoming roadway restoration. All residents will keep access to their homes. Please adhere to all No Parking signs.
- On June 12, 2023, Restoration will begin on Van Buren Street NW between 4th and 5th Street NW
- On June 15, 2023- Restoration will begin on 4th Street NW between Van Buren Street and Aspen Street NW,
- On June 18, 2023- Restoration will begin on Whittier Street NW, between 5th Street and Blair Rd NW
Restoration is estimated to take about 2 weeks to complete (weather permitting). Roadway restoration is necessary to complete the DC PLUG initiative’s Feeder 15009 project which consists of undergrounding powerlines for a more resilient DC.
