DDOT Traffic Advisory: Temporary Lane Closures I-395 (Air Rights) from March 26, 2023 through April 14, 2023

Temporary Lane Closures I-395 (Air Rights) from March 26, 2023 through April 14, 2023

(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

I-395 Air Rights Tunnel (1143) Sunday, northbound right lane on March 26^th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am as well as the left lane of the 2^nd Street exit ramp

I-395 Air Rights Tunnel (1143) Monday, northbound left lane on March 27^th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

I-395 Air Rights Tunnel (1143) Tuesday, southbound left lane on March 28^th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

I-395 Air Rights Tunnel (1143) Wednesday, southbound right lane on March 29^th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am as well as the Mass Ave Ramp

I-395 Air Rights Tunnel (1143) Thursday, southbound right lane on March 30^th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

I-395 Air Rights Tunnel (1143) Single Lane closures either northbound or southbound from April 2^nd to April 6^th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

I-395 Air Rights Tunnel (1143) Single Lane closures either northbound or southbound from April 9^th to April 13^th, from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate lite-to-moderate delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
