Enjoy the Decorations Before They're Gone
Eleven units across the agency participated in the 2022 Holiday Decorating Contest. Members of the winning team will receive two hours of administrative leave.

The First Place Winners are colleagues in Intake with Candyland in the City. As your time permits, stroll through Gingerbread Lane to the Candy Shoppe on the first floor of 250 E Street, SW. And if you're dreaming of a white Christmas, head to the 5th floor to visit the Transition Unit's Winter Wonderland. Our second-place winners even created a photo wall with person-centered icons visitors could pose with to show what's important for and important to them. Photos below.

Congratulations, and thank you to all who creatively shared the fun and joy of the season.

Candyland in the City, created by Intake
This team turned their office area into a sweet space. Various shapes and colors depict an array of holiday treats, including a gingerbread train with peppermint wheels, gumdrops dangling from the ceiling, and a pink banner surrounded by colorful balloons welcoming visitors to the Candy Shoppe.

Winter Wonderland, designed by Transition
Our transition unit brought the outdoors inside. Cabinets are covered with snow, and snowflakes fall from the ceiling. Trees barren of leaves are positioned against the backdrop of falling snow. Along with trees green and silver trees, silver fringe hangs bordered with white balloons--the perfect setup for visitors to snap a holiday photo in this wonderland.
