Temporary Road Closure on Oregon Avenue NW for DC PLUG Project from November 21 to November 22, 2022
(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is advising all stakeholders of roadway closures and traffic pattern changes on Oregon Avenue NW. Please see the following information for upcoming roadway closures beginning November 21 to November 22, 2022;weather permitting.
Roadway Closure As part of the DC PLUG Feeder 14900 project manhole work entailing the installation and modification of electrical equipment is planned to begin on Sunday, November 21, 2022, at 9:30pm and planned to be completed on November 22, 2022, at 6:00 am weather permitting.
These lane closures and traffic pattern changes are necessary to complete ongoing roadway reconstruction in the most efficient manner as a part of the DC PLUG (Feeder 14900) Project. Updated traffic advisories will be posted prior to moving to the next phase of roadway and intersection reconstruction. Schedule is subject to change. In the event of a schedule change an updated traffic advisory will be reissued.
Traffic controls, including signage, will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians safely through the detour. All users of the roadway are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and work zones while traveling in this area.
