Temporary Lane Closure for the Rehabilitation of 16th Street Bridge over Piney Branch Parkway NW Project

(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) anticipates the implementation of the following emergency temporary lane closure on the 16^th Street Bridge, as part of the on-going 16^th Street Bridge rehabilitation work, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 8:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, weather permitting to necessitate the following:  

• The southbound 16^th Street lanes will be closed for a few hours to groove Phase 2/Phase3 bridge deck

Please note that all other previously published Lane closure advisories for this project still remain in effect and unchanged.  

Motorists are urged to obey traffic advisory instructions and use caution as they travel in these areas, to anticipate moderate delays, and to be mindful of construction personnel.
