Beginning Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 6:00 AM certain establishments will be required to verify that patrons ages 12 and older have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Proof of vaccination will be required at:

Restaurants, bars, nightclubs

Indoor cultural and entertainment facilities
-
Indoor exercise and recreational establishments
-
Indoor event and meeting establishments
Exceptions will be carved out for instances when a person is only briefly entering an establishment, e.g., to use a restroom or pick up an order.

 Beginning January 15, 2022, businesses shall display a notice informing patrons that proof of vaccination is required to enter any indoor portion of a covered location. Sample advisory notices are available for download at vaxdc.dc.gov.

Test Yourself Express (TYSE) launched today. Rapid Antigen COVID-19 testing kits are available at eight District libraries, six days a week. District residents will be able to access a maximum of two kits per day, and proof of DC residency is required and supplies are limited.
Don’t forget all testing sites are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will continue to provide updates on supply.
