In Case You Missed It
COVID Update from Mayor Bowser
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser held a press briefing on December 2, 2021, providing District residents with an update on the city's COVID protocols. You can view the COVID-19 Situational Update here.  A few highlights are below.

  • If you are not yet vaccinated, you need to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
  • If it is time for your booster, go get your booster as soon as possible.
  • DC is adding new vaccination sites and making it easier for the whole family to get vaccinated at once. And starting Monday, December 6, all people five and older can get vaccinated at home!
  • Plenty of vaccines are available in DC and there are plenty of ways to get vaccinated.
  • Continue getting tested for COVID-19. If you need a test, get a test. Like the vaccine, free tests are widely available.
  • DC Health will continue to advise and make recommendations on the use of masks for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. The current DC Health mask advisory is that all people, regardless of vaccination status, should wear a mask indoors in public settings.
