On behalf of the Georgetown University Center for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities (GUCEDD), I am very excited to share with you the videos listed below of Thelma Green and James Beadle, both persons with the lived experience of developmental disability who reside in DC. We were drawn to their stories because James and Thelma are good friends and James was a very effective influencer to encourage Thelma to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

The video series consists of James and Thelma individually sharing their reasons for getting vaccinated and the two of them discussing their journey together. Given the population in DC, we think these videos will really resonate and hopefully will be broadly disseminated on social and other media both locally and nationally via UCEDDs in other states and territories.
