The Commercial Energy Conservation Code consists of ANSI/ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2013 Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings, as amended by the Commercial Energy Conservation Code Supplement of 2017.
During this training, we will review:
- Significant changes in District of Columbia 12-A DCMR Building Code 2017;
- DC amendments to ANSI/ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2013 standards;
- Normative Appendices A, B, C, D and G of ASHRAE 90.1;
- Energy and Green Worksheets; and
- Introduce Alternative Compliance Paths to the Energy Conservation Code
This event will be beneficial to architects, engineers, and contractors. This training will provide code compliance training regarding the Commercial Energy Efficiency Code to shorten understanding of ASHRAE 90.1-2013 versus the ICC model codes. Participants will receive sufficient training to improve plan drawings resulting in quicker plan review times.
International Code Council (ICC) Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
This is an ICC Preferred Provider (ID#1380) class and ICC CEUs will be issued to individuals with full participation, i.e. you must be on time, remain active in the session until the end, and complete an applicable exam.
